The same thing here, first I received an email about suspicious activity on my EA account, and asking me to reset my password and then another few hours later informing me about the ban..WTF?!
I actually got something similar...
but no one was on my origin, and no other device than mine logged in. Changed all my security, 2FA being already activated.
Played yesterday until 11pm, got in the car for job and at 9ham I got an email saying I got banned for cheating... computer was mining while I was gone (gotta pay for that RTX...).
Quite chocking haha. Its not about the money, its about not being able to enjoy the game...with possibly no appeal. =(
