- @Jesse165 yes, BF is a team game. But it is not just for friends.
Why should a large group of friends expect to play together to have fun?
When you seem more interested in telling a bunch of random how they should have fun.
Using your example.
DICE needs to player balance teams, have no team switching and remove join on friends.
After all it you don't like it you can always find another game. Period. You are all aware that BFV the game actually puts you into squads with people on your friends list. And at the end of round will try and put players of the same platoon onto the same side.. It's part of the auto balance...
So clan stacks are by design.
- @Jesse165 if nothing is fair.
Why should armature not gain advantage too? Like splitting the pro across both teams.
After all BF is a team game for FUN not a ranked competition.

After all BF is a team game for FUN not a ranked competition.THERE, you nailed it @DingoKillr !
The real strong players even recognize this and therefore also volunteer to switch around and join the weaker team side as required to ensure the fun is there for all the parties in the game, by helping with their experience to level and balance the teams out!
Some clan members may also be so grandiose, but often we see many acting just as selfish stacking mobsters. Lacking to realize that without the many go-happy amateurs and non-affiliated players in this game environment, they would have zero players to 'harvest' their meaningless k/d ratios from, on which their fragile egos appear to be built...

Because, those people who are saying you need to suck it up are playing the game as it is. We like it like that thank you, and so do the game designers. We don't need to find another game. You are the ones who are asking for a change (which, incidentally, you are not going to get). Its like complaining about a car having only 2 seats when you want 4 and insisting that the manufacturers make a 4 seater model - no-one is making you buy the two seater, go look at another make!
The issue for BF vets is that teamplay is at the heart of BF. That got lost a little bit over the last few versions and lots of us are excited about that being made stronger in BF2042. BF was never about the lone-wolf-run-and-gun of COD.So, you can say what you like, nothing will change. Some of us are twitching a bit though at the sense of entitlement displayed by some posters who think they can lay the law down to Dice.

- @Jesse165 That was your “opinion” Jesse, I just used your argument. I used the exact same structure but changed the variables.
If you detected a veiled sentiment behind the statement, it’s yours merely reflected back at you.
We can have a discussion without telling one another to get lost.
What clan are you in anyway? - VOLBANKER_PC5 years agoSeasoned Ace
It’s tough, there’s no easy solution.
Friends want to play with friends - totally understandable.
But randoms do not want to get steamrolled by an enemy team consisting of people who are into squad play and thus cooperate well - again, totally understandable, at least in my book.
Edited to say that if only randoms were into squad play and could cooperate too, things would be fine. But everyone knows good squad and team players are not the normal in Battlefield. Therefore the good squad and team players need to be pit up against other good squad and team players. Otherwise we get the situation where you’re either on the steamrolling team or on the receiving end of a steamroll.
I just wish that those 'blueberry type' players who don't want to join on huge platoon or are hesitant on using microphone would give a try to commo rose and give or follow orders. Don't put pressure on yourself or others when trying to play as a team. It's more rewarding to play together towards same goal, after all. On your personal skill level.
Good players will make room for better players or leave the squad if its performance doesn't satisfy them, it's no big deal. Just join to another squad where players are on your level/have same mindset if kicked out of squad. (This message is directed towards blueberries.)
