We all know Dice will nerf the Sentry Gun, it's just too powerful and essentially gives you an extra teammate with some of Paiks wall hack ability.
So my prediction is that they will change range and enemy spot duration.
I would let it fire longer if it's accuracy was toned down a bit (same with Fido). Mentioned above, hilighting on the minimap only sounds like a nice compromise
I'd drop the turret and rangers weapons altogether personally, there's 128 players already shooting at each other don't need another 10-15 non humanoids adding to it especially when they take 5x more bullets to put down.
Give the ranger AA ability, not as much damage as the held AA but something just to keep the choppers on their toes when they get close.
The turret i'd turn into a auto lock on thing like the soflam.
Honestly wouldn't mind if they made it remote controlled. No auto spotting or shooting. Would require direct input from the operator. Would still be incredibly useful being able to fire from cover or remotely but useless when not actively operated.
imagine he can place a heavy MG he can then use( since DICE is stealing ideas from better games just make it like Tachanka from R6S) would give him great synergy with Irish....
but teamplay is no longer wanted by DICE so go fish i guess
Nerf the range. That thing is so unfair
I do not care what they might do to it.
But if they make it weaker, they better lower the bar to tier 1.
Otherwise it is unfair or those who have not gotten it yet tier 1 while players like me got it to tier 1 already.
A health reduction for the turret could work, I just don't know if nerfing it would be beneficial.
