I do not think that anyone is using the tracer darts anymore...

Perhaps they need to get back into a middle ground that is closer to what they were at their introduction. I would say that the part that could be improved is the time the target remains designated ...

@UP_Hawxxeye Interesting, now I’ll have to check out Rao again. Since hacks stopped disabling weapons fire of vehicles I haven’t used him.

He is a gem that people do not know about because the game is not good at explaining all that each thing does..
He Reds the vehicle modules
He spots/designates the vehicles and those inside them.
He is X-ray spotting the hacked soldiers and their neighbors (even inside smoke)
He passively X-ray spots the enemies who just damaged him.
