I got banned from Battlefield 2042
I was playing Rush mode with a friend (arming and disarming bombs), and I was on the team defending the objectives. I remember the opposing team had 500 tickets—meaning they could die 500 times across several rounds—and they *still* lost, lol. I remember taunting them after the match ended. A few days later, I tried to play again but couldn't connect to the servers. I looked into what was happening and discovered I’d been permanently banned from Battlefield 2042 for hacking. I hadn't received any warning; no one contacted me—I was just banned. I tried to find out which match or day triggered the suspicion, but that information wasn't shown either.
The only thing I could do was write a short message, upload a 100MB image (lol), and hope they’d believe me. I had planned to record a video showing my Task Manager, but since there was a 100MB file limit, I took several screenshots of the Task Manager showing all the apps running on my PC and stitched them into a single image. I also wanted to send a screenshot of my antivirus, but I was afraid to do so because I have pirated games that get flagged as malicious software, so I didn't think it was a good idea to show that.
I sent a very brief message along with the compiled screenshots, but they rejected it. I no longer have the option to "contest" the decision, and it seems my case is closed. Guys, I don't know what to do. What they did to me was a huge screw-up—if not outright shady or dishonest behavior. The person who banned me should be punished. My friends told me to sue EA, but I know that would involve a lot of red tape and a painfully slow process. What can I do? If you'd like, I can hop on a call and show you everything on my computer. Thanks to everyone who read this.
NB: Sorry if my text doesn't make sense in some parts; I'm Brazilian and used Google Translate.
I've attached the screenshot.
I'm sorry to say that there is not much we can do to help with bans here, as the appeal process is only handled by the Terms of Service team.
If you're not able to contact them using the webform (https://help.ea.com/en/articles/security-and-rules/locked-banned-suspended-accounts ), you could try https://help.ea.com/customer-care and ask if they can initiate a second appeal for you (N.B. EA Help are not able to handle ban appeals directly).
