Will Battlefield 2042 allow to play conquest, team deathmatch and others against AI bots offline just like Battlefront II allowed players to play supremacy and co-op against bots? Does it support split screen offline and online as well? Also what is the name of the game mode called for the AI bots? Instant action or?
Thank you very much!
The game will be completely online only. You wil be aible to play the game solo or with friens with bots. But you need to be connected to the internet. If not you can't play.
I did some reserearch and on the official playstation store you can see the page states the game needs a constant internet connection to play.
If you look to the offical xbox cover art. It also claims you need a constant internet connection and xbox live subscription.
And for pc it will be the same case.
I find this sad. So the game will eventually not be playable anymore.

most consoles won't work unless connected to the internet anyway. Worrying about the "eventually can't play" is easily disproved by the fact I can still find BF:BC2 servers and lots of BF4 servers playing, those games are ancient by gaming standards. Don't worry, once Skynet is online, we'll all be connected all the time.
