@Ironhead841I agree about the specialists.
A big part of the problem, is that the vehicles weapons are too strong against infantry.
Instead of just reducing the number of vehicles, Dice should nerf the vehicles damage against infantry (remove 50 mm cannons and 'anti-personel-rockets'), which would make them less of 'farming machines', then they could increase their number again.
The vehicles were too dominant and this would make too many players use counters against them. Reduce the dominance of vehicles (nerf the weapons) and less infantry uses rockets...
DICE couldn't even balance planes in BFV what makes anyone think they can balance vehicles v specialists v themselves...
this studio as they are now can barely balance their own budet
- cso77773 years agoSeasoned Ace@X-Sunslayer-X The problem is that if the vehicles weapons are not nerfed, then they become "farming machines" and this makes it awful for infantry (which is the majority of players).
In an ideal world, most vehicles would be fighting other vehicles and not infantry, but how to obtain this I don't know (Dice doesn't either).- IPFreely_C4S3 years agoSeasoned Adventurer

Looks at BF3 and BF4 and you realize they understood that vehicles should play a prominent role in the game. There were enough vehicles on most maps that they did in fact engage each other rather than infantry all the time. Some of those battles resulted in epic armored and air engagements, and they were an absolute blast!
That kind of vehicle action added another layer of tactical thinking that is clearly missing here. I actually made a point of cranking up BF4 yesterday to see if my perception is skewed over time, but it’s really not. I had a blast playing BF4. I managed to get into impactful vehicles (air and armored) pretty frequently. In 2042 I can go an entire match without landing such vehicles once.

Remove all the Tanks, included AA Tanks.
The game just have hit & run Heli only....No tanks, keep throwing Smoke Grenade noob to Win on Breakthrough now.

this studio as they are now can barely balance their own budet@X-Sunslayer-X after the horror of BF1/V's planes bombing everything non-stop I was not happy to see the stealth chopper get bombs. Queue Vas saying "do you know the definition of insanity?"
- Psubond3 years agoLegend@ragnarok013 i stopped playing angel and switched back to rao. isn't great for my exp gain but i LOVE making life miserable for vehicles. i have seen helos get annihilated instantly after hacking them and no matter what they have to run cause if they don't i'm shooting at them with a stinger
- ragnarok0133 years agoHero+@Psubond I enjoy playing Rao for that reason, especially for messing with choppers.

I hate planes in BFV so much. If the enemy has a good pilot, they’re basically untouchable. It’s not fun to get farmed over and over again.
