Solo/Co-Op and Custom Portal Experience Progression
We designed Battlefield 2042 to enable players to progress uniformly across the experience. Shortly after the release of the game, we observed a significant imbalance in the earn rates for experience (XP), particularly in Battlefield Portal where players created servers designed specifically to farm XP. Unfortunately, the limiters we had put in place were not working as intended. In order to maintain balance across the game, we temporarily disabled progression across Solo, Co-Op, and in Custom Portal Experiences.
This past weekend we were able to reintroduce those caps and developed smarter XP and progression caps that have allowed us to re-enable XP earned via Portal Custom Experiences.
We will continue to monitor for XP Farm Servers and take appropriate actions to remove them from the pool when needed.
The above are the issues that you’ve helped to highlight to us as most impactful to your experience whilst playing the game. We’re tracking all of our known issues over on the Battlefield Forums, and we’re grateful that you’re taking the time to share your feedback with us.

They do count but have been capped. That's what I'm getting from this.
no exp nor unlocks in Portal, i dont know what people make up here
Solo/coop ribbons still disabled and mastery on weapons locked on 12, also can't aquire any of the playercard rewards

Look, we're just trying to figure this out like everyone else. Speaking for myself, I'm not making anything up and I don't think others are either. I posted the news about the latest communication because this is the first we've heard about the Portal progression since they cut it a couple weeks ago. Obviously there is confusion about how progression is working so let's figure it out together.

I posted this in another thread but this is what I noticed....
I'm level 14. I see I unlocked one player card image and I'm progressing on others. ....same with tags, etc. Mastery doesn't show any progress but I noticed a lot of those are challenges with BF2042 assets? I've been playing almost exclusively BF3 with some BC2 and 1942.
I have been unlocking weapon skins and acc's along with vehicle upgrades. I'm not sure how to view those outside of a game session. If there is a list of those can someone point it out?
Personally, I could care less about the player card and mastery unlocks as those look to just be achievements / trophies I'm guessing? The gameplay is most important to me and progression toward unlocking accessories for my weapons, vehicles upgrades and so on.
