@Karen0202 I read the original concept was going to be a story from Irish’s perspective. That could have been great with an do,I’d tie in to the BF history. Instead we got an incomplete game with no lore on release. They trickled it in, and like a frog in a pot we never noticed it happening. We are well past the “nobody cares” level in 2042 and they still keep adding to it. I’ve never read the codex, it means absolutely nothing to me.

I don't care about anything they don't present visually. It doesn't even appeal to my language. Why bother translating texts that don't add anything to me in my own language? I play all games. Visuals, facial expressions, the goal is clear. But in this game, I don't feel emotionally connected to anything. BF3, BF4, BF5, HARDLINE had stories to offer to people. And we were inspired to play by that theme. BF2042 is a soulless game.
