My child can’t play this game..
I allow him to play other 1st person shooters but personally don’t allow profanity (my choice 👍). What good is the Battlefield 2042 profanity filter in text chat when Mackay screams out.. G*Damn**....

@CLEMSONU here in EU the game has an age restriction of USK 16 which means that this game is for person that with an age 16 or older and I think people at that age heard already worse things.
And if I’m right the PEGI Rating is 16+ and the ESRB Rating is Mature 17+
So, may I ask how old your kid is? Because the game is definitely not for kids….
Also, the voice lines of the specialist can be controlled by EA/DICE but what people are writing in that chat is out of their control, that is the reason why EA/DICE have such a filter for the chat and not the voice lines.
This has nothing to do with censorship.

Here in US Battlefield 2042 has been rated M 17+, so is only suitable for mature audiences. This is because of "Blood, Strong Language, Violence".
So umm yea there is a rating there for a reason.
