I suggest you try out Titanfall2... The game actually had an lock-on automatic sidearm which required NO aiming... just an itchy trigger-finger.. Which was called the smart-pistol :-)
It was not an actual sidearm but more of an gadget with a cool-down... I could see this coming as an specialisation for BF 2042 for sure...
