I wasn't enjoying the game for a lot of reasons and said so in threads here and there. I am up to level 25 now I think I have adapted to some degree to the nuances 2042 has introduced at this point. I am changing my tone to optimism instead of the "get off my lawn" guy!I have been having a good time and finding my niche of play style. I think most often the ability to adapt to the new games in the BF series has always been the key to making it fun. The fact is every time we get a new game in the series there is a learning curve. How fast some of us traverse that curve varies but nonetheless it is there and requires adaptation. Not saying the game is good to go or anything like that. There are still plenty of things the community needs to make them aware of to fix and continue to provide feedback for. I am confident DICE can get this thing molded into a game I can sink 1000 hours into. See you on the battlefield!

I've read all the maps are just as awful as well and aren't any better than the 'beta' map.

yep this forum is full of people reacting to change. And this early on, day one/week one, DICE knows the issues with the game better than the community because they've put more time into it.

I also think the game is great and I think this community doesn't give the Dev team enough credit . Because realistically what game out right now is perfect with no flaws that you play everyday . As someone who has actively played every game released by this team they have done a solid job even with the flaws . I think at the actual launch we can expect some repairs and fixes and still bugs the game definitely is not broken by any means but flawed yes.

@TrasteThSorry I don't celebrate and enjoy mediocrity but you do you, they have plenty of apologist to pat them on the back for doing a bad job. I'll wait for the price drop just like BFV had in a week or two.

Idk about you but I'm sick of DICE and tired of them thinking it's ok to put out a golden sprayed piece of crap, and then take a year or more to get it into an acceptable place, why don't they start just y'know DELAYING IT UNTIL IT'S READY, their "Were ahead of schedule" bs is hilarious seeing all the clips and problems this game has.

@GRiPSViGiL It took me a while to find my rhythm in this game. The more I’m playing it, the more I’m enjoying it. Even some of the things I thought maybe needed changing I’ve changed my mind on.

It’s quickly becoming one of my favorite Battlefield games.

People who hang on to this as a stick to beat them with have clearly never been involved with large projects. If they had, they would know how easy it is to be ahead one day and the next, something crops up that puts them days, weeks or even months behind.
