@Neil79UK They’ve made further adjustments to aim assist for one, because apparently controllers are garbage and can’t compete with M&K. There are also significant issues with the netcode and network compensation that result in this. S6 has been a turning point in the game for this, it’s as bad as I’ve seen it since release. Out of region players and even worse, those in a VPN have also wrecked any semblance of balance. When a server can have an average latency of 40 and move to 90 because 1 player joins reveals a very broken game. A buddy asked me if it was worth buying yesterday. Base game was $70, I told him no it’s not worth it. When it was $10 it’s barely worth it, because the game is still broken in its core.

But yeah laggy players are cancer and its akin to cheating. I am.a firm believer of not developing net code that rewards packet loss high ping gaming.
PC players should not be matched with console players who have aim assist turned on unless they choose it as an option in game settings.
It gives too many problems trying to balance two input methods as different as M&K and controller.
Thought as much! Players should be kicked for high ping, not have everyone else suffer!
It sucks but I notice some servers are better than others and it happens way less often
