The lack of a small map like in Metro is certainly a complaint.
Have you ever seen a shotgun user? I never have.
The maps in 2042 are large and tend to focus on medium to long range combat, which tends to limit the variety of weapons even more.
I didn't buy this game to get sick of snipers and hovercrafts, so I'm hoping for at least one map where I can enjoy intense close combat.
@DeathChinpo Yep. I thought it would be fine bc we have portal, so i tried to make a tdm game on noshahr but literally no one joined, so thats great.
