I think they have disabled it for coop.

They didn't disable it for co-op as it's still counting for me, it's just not unlocking,

They've only confirmed an XP limitation on twitter, they've said nothing about attachment and vehicle progression...

  Which is bizarre because the only thing I'm getting out of the solo/coop mode is xp. No weapon or vehicle progression, just the "limited" xp.
