Can't believe they removed the objective on the top skyscraper in downtown... they keep removing the objectives on top of skyscrapers like in Breakthrough on Kaleidoscope, which ends up making them empty because there is no point of being up there other than to snipe. The fights up there were really fun, both for infantry and helis. Imo there was no reason to remove it.
Congratulations you just made a garbage a** map. You had one job add cover make a few tweaks; maybe add some destruction like a skyscraper falling idk. Instead you took away the stadium, you could have just repositioned some flags. This used to be one of my favorite maps( I know I’m on the minority) but you just kind of ruined it.
At this point just port over some older maps and don’t make any changes to them.
I really loved the original hourglass map with the stadium but I’m going to go easy on Dice. They most likely worked hard on this one but probably better if they would’ve spent their energy on a brand new map just like with all reworks.
This map needs two things now in my opinion. First, put the stadium in the big empty area. Second, the downtown middle flag needs to go back on top of the skyscraper. Those two things gave a lot of interest to this map. Even better: leave the flag down in the downtown area just add one more on top of the skyscraper where it was. (So there would be 4 flags downtown. Just do it please. Looks like we are at the end cycle of the game anyway. Leave it in a good state so people can enjoy it until your next game comes out.
They did not work hard they went cheap a bit of cover added removed the stadium 24 hrs at most with a few days testing.
They still left the skycrapers in for the pc aimbot brigade and theres a fair few thousand of them.
