All of us wanting what was promised to us, given to us, then taken away from us (several times), is far too much of a ''brutal expectation''.
@DominickB3well whatever people think, the game released as was intended, full xp and unlock progression across the board and thats how it should be now. We all bought it for one reason or another and now solo/coop and custom portal is dead, HZ didnt even take off and multiplayer has a million issues and a dwindling playerbase.
They just need to put it back the way it was and how it should be and let people play how they want, just like what they paid for
@DominickB3Yes PVP is becoming a very toxic community. I used to be a PvP competitive player, I played tournaments on Ghost Recon 2, R6 3, R6 Vegas, COD 2 and MW with my team, we never sh!t on PvE players and on bots games, we even used to play UT 2004 for fun against bots.
Maybe I’m a old j3rk, or a boomer, but I don’t understand how it became like this. Feel like they don’t want to earn things because of personal goals, or self achievements, they just don’t want others to have it for no reason.
Now that they are back in the office, maybe we will get some kind of update. At this point I think all of us just want to know if this is how it's going to be moving forward, or if this is all still temporary.
Most likely they will plan to remove XP entirely from Solo/Coop/Portal now, tbh i lost hope that Dice even tries to fix that mess.

Like its been said lets see what happens with Season 1...so far we've been screwed on XP, screwed on Progression, screwed on Weekly/Daily assignments...if we get screwed on the Battlepass...well...they gave us the finger and took our money...
Even cheaters dont want to play this game anymore it is so bad, so bad the cheats dont work. I mean thats good that cheaters are staying away, but at the same time you know its really bad when it gets to that point.
Custom Portal is this games one and only saving grace, but they need to turn off xp caps and progress restrictions (and for solo/coop). This game is so done with these restrictions. At least give custom Portal and solo/coop the chance to stay alive. HZ is dead, AOW online is dying, they need to at least leave us portal and solo/coop with no xp caps and no progress restrictions like it was intended.
Its the right thing to do now
This was posted on Twitter a few minutes ago by Justin Weibe from Ripple Effect:
"Thanks for bringing this up. You’re not wrong! It’s taking us too long to get this resolved. Something that should have been simple is proving to be quite complex. BUT…. Look for an update next week. There will be a phased approach to improving the progression in BF Portal."
One way to bring back part of the player base is to completely remove the progression cap in Solo/Co-Op.
Some of the replies to that tweet is people asking just to turn off all restrictions. People are not bothered how others rank up etc. Will see what happens next week but I aint holding my breath.
@Spidder81I really hope they will at very least disable restriction in AOW solo/coop, where no farms are possible. Caps in AOW has always been something I don’t understand at all.

Game deleted and refunded. I will buy again once solo xp/full prgression is fixed. Will check each week until fixed.
