No, the cannons just have an insane spread. So going for ground vehicles, let alone infantry, is pretty much pointless.
And the spread seems to build up faster after the #3 patch.
The jet cannon needs a good spread reduction and maybe velocity buff so that it is more reliable and hitting closer to there the reticle shows.
But for all that is holy, I do not want the jets to get anything that is specialized against infantry. That would be them getting away from their air superiority role.
- @UP_Hawxxeye I agree that jets shouldn`t have any weapons specialized against infantry, but I believe a skilled pilot should be able to reliably kill exposed infantry with the cannons.
As far as classifying the jets as an air superiority vehicle im not a big fan of that. Traditionally speaking jets have always been a major threat to ground targets in battlefield games, and I want them to continue to be so. With a wider array of unlocks for the jet, pilots can tailor their jet to their own playstyle. I believe a lot of people are like me who`s only AA capabilities come from the main cannon, with the rest of the kit focused on anti ground.@X3D-PhantomThe problem with jets is that (outside of bad pilots and unlikely tank shell/ unguided rocket) hits they cannot be countered by the ground in modern settings.
That is why I consider it unfair for them to become a major threat to everyone the ground while also potentially becoming the kings of the air.The most they should be able to do to infantry is gun them down if they are good enough.
