Ridiculous Bullet spread/deviation

Dice… EA… what in the cinnamon toast **** is up with this bullet spread? I find myself loosing so many gun fights to people with DMRs and pistols and sniper rifles? I literally am aiming RIGHT at them and it’s like a percentage of my bullets “miss” on purpose to give them a chance? are you trying to make this game “fair” for everyone by making gun fights a “coin toss”? 
example, in bf4 I ran the AEK (AEK in bf4 was fueled by anger 😂). I would LASER kids full auto with stubby grip at almost any range. Standing still or zuzu or sprinting. This is just absurd!  I’ve already mastered my m5 and no attachments make a different. Same with AK12. 
please tell me how the heck a smg is going to outgun me most of the time at range btw? 
it also probably doesn’t help that aim assist is non existent as well. It shouldn’t take 80% of your magazine to maybe get a kill.
