I thought it was bad in general, but nope it's even worse. The high power single fire mode doesn't even work on Casper's drone. It's so pitiful and broken it can't even hurt a tiny drone. :🙌
- @SnubbyFighter I used it fairly effectively as a regular assault rifle because of its high damage and accuracy. Switching to sniper mode just to kill off campers. Will give it a try to see how it works now. I remember getting T1 for it in a couple of days
- @UP_LordPlumber I left it on high power mode and even took a short video of this one game. Caught a turret user, blam. Went to one side of the ship and shot down a copter, then walked to the other side to snipe a bunch of people pushing our flag zone. Talk about versatile.
Then the devs took a dump on the whole thing.Unfortunately, EA/DICE decided it was to powerful and nurfed it into oblivion. Don't like it now.
Since I have played, every new gun when introduced has a near OP sense to it. I believe it is purposeful to get people to play the new weapon. Over time, it will get nerfed. My advice is, when a new weapon is introduced, play it. If youre a T1 farmer, play it alot. It will get nerfed and be much harder to achieve goals with later.
I remember when the Avancys was considered OP. Now, revolvers are better
Oh it didn't take more than a 2-3 hours for a week to T1. It's just useless to help a team short of the odd overwatch for a flag. By the time you get a few kills you have to get running before the nearest 10 people show up to off you because on top of being slow as snail to charge it's also incredible easy to find by the noise it makes. Also if someone's ping is actually visible to their teammates they'll find you that way to. Mean while tanks/helis can sneak up on you like they're running silent electric engines because the sound mix is still hilarious.
All this time and I still can't make sense of the development on this game. Is this game being developed by Vogons? Do they fill out 60 forms for approval before filling out another 100 forms before they can make a change? Good thing they're not trying to develop a bypass we'd all be dead before planning was finished.

it's the battlefield way. introduce weapon, everyone plays cause it's new, people cry for nerf, people get nerf. introduce new weapon
