what's even worse than the lack of content we get is that Dice never came clean. They just used the issues to buy time basically.
This new map most likely will again not have any levolution event, no crazy destruction (like they claimed before 2042 was released). Do they really think people will come back to play for one single map? There is still no server browser, no global chat...i Still cannot take this game seriously. The cringe lines are still there. The entire XP system, rewards in general doesn't exists. There is no point of playing.
They had a chance to make up for the bare bone base game and even this they can't get right.
@Buzzfunk Supposedly new map has a big landslide that opens a new section of the map, so hopefully it's at least a banger of a map for the first new map the game sees in 8 months.

- @edgecrusherO0 From the reveal it looks like no landslide is happened during gameplay. It sounds like "A landslide revealed a secret blabla"....
@edgecrusherO0LOL, that would be great to see but Im afraid that for me it will never come up in rotation or I will spawn in for the last minute of the round and miss it. /sigh
- @CascadiaSRL Oh they've already fixed that problem...sorta kinda, it's a fix but it's bad. They'll have a separate playlist for the new map so you're not purely at the mercy of matchmaking RNG for that.
