Season 6 BattlePass & T1 Mastery Pace

@AdamonicI have T1'ed every season until now. I just don't see any value in grinding XP, now that it has been made more difficult.

I guess the devs thought that it would make people play more. For me, the effect has been the opposite. I allocate a certain amount of time for this game, and that is it. If I don't have a realistic chance of getting T1, I will allocate my time elsewhere.

I would say you are right, a lot of players will just give up on the hope of achieving T1 for Season 6.

I think they have set the bar way too high this time for the average player.

Yeah, I hit 690 after the weeklies on last Tuesday, and only played two more rounds to hit 693 the rest of the week. There is very little incentive to play more until the next patch comes out.

2XP weekend sure helps. For those who are trying to get T1 Mastery, take advantage of the 2XP weekend. I am getting an additional token or two per round. I was down getting only 1-2, now getting 3 or 4 per round. Still a grind though, but definitely less grindy with the 2XP.

Wow, congrats, that is impressive. 

I am trudging along, but man is this a grind. I am trying to stay at 100 tokens per week so I can get the T1 done before the New Year.  I am at 850 right now after all the weeklies and now have to grind out 50 tokens with the XP mission which is around 25K per token (just 1,250,000 XP needed in the next 6 days) to hit 900. That's about 4 hours a day with normal XP or 2 hours a day with 2XP. I am done playing until next week's missions, so I won't be hitting that.

Luckily, I have enough tokens to just do the weeklies and nothing else. Zero incentive to play otherwise. Outside of the weekly missions, they really don't give you any reason to play. Crazy for a live service game.

I'm 872 mastery at the moment but the grind is really tought right now, usually i have 2 weeks ahead easily, this time very tough @Adamonic ...

I've just hit tier 90 in the Battlepass with 661 tokens. I'll just be happy completing the Battlepass, I think, but if I can T1 the season too, that'd be a nice bonus.

Olny really have time to do the weekly missions, though, so I guess we'll see.

You will need 720 by Tuesday to keep pace, that's only 59 tokens, you should be able to get that in about 55 rounds. If every round lasts 20 minutes, you only have to play for 18 hours between now and Monday night to get there. 

I am at Level 87 with 860 tokens and it is such a grind. I can't believe I am only two weeks ahead of the projections in Week 9. I should get the BP done in Week 11 and T1 at the end of Week 13 or start of Week 14. I can't imagine many players are going to get T1. I bet they will start having more 2XP weekends as we get closer to the end of the season.

I really think they miscalculated the progress compared to other seasons. Why go 6 seasons with a formula that worked, only to change it up and make it significantly harder while the season is longer. So you make it MORE of grind AND longer of a grind. Seems torturous. 

I'm at 860, 26.5k / token. Fun has left me long time ago and there is only grinding. Much much harder than last season.

Yeah that wore off a long time ago. The performance of the game is worse for me now than it was a year ago. 

I am at 920 and 94 BP Level. I am barely getting thru the weeklies now.

Nah that's their "creative" team of directors and producers who don't really do anything, but come up with these ridiculous ideas.

With that said, I can't see very many casual players hitting T1 this season, even with the extra 10K daily and 2XP windows. Maybe S1 to S5 was deemed too easy, but man this feels like they went a little overboard the other way in S6.

It really is frustrating. I largely stopped even attempting to grind it out after getting a couple weeks into this season. I'll complete the weekly challenges within a few rounds then maybe play once or twice again that week and come back the next week. It doesn't help that my crew that I played with for the majority of this game's existence have stopped playing as well, of course.

It's always felt a little weird to me that the more you play, the more points you need to accumulate. I also agree that Dice maybe went a bot overboard with this season.

I guess they did it like the rank system where newer players would want some incentive to play, so you would rank up almost every round for the first few before it got incrementally tougher. However, there was a cap. At some point, all future ranks were the same amount of XP. Here it keeps on going up to some ridiculous levels. 

atm @ tier 89.6 and working on the weekly missions. still something like 2 weeks ahead so should be fine. but the grind is real ☹️
