[Steam][BF2042] 7.4 GB update

Hi, a 7.4 GB update just rolled out for BF2042 on Steam. Are there any patch notes yet? The official site has not been updated yet.

What we know so far: 2 new weapons, 2 new aircraft vehicles, 1 new map

epic stuff !!
now lets add some QoL too, something like:

-- server browser for official match making
-- improved match maker & map filter
-- permanent hardcore gamemode for Conquest, Rush, and Breakthrough
-- portal mode to grant full XP on standard rules and settings
-- modified custom portal servers to limit XP
-- increased server tickrate to 60 Hz ?

more classic maps and bring back Sundance's various grenades

Why no patch notes, and what's in this huge download? Anyone know?
If these is a new map, can we play it in Portal do you know?

So: the freshly added Lynx sniper rifle into BF2042 could only be unlocked, if BF6 Open Beta was downloaded, installed and played through the EA App, not through Steam. Players who tested the BF6 Beta via Steam are not eligible to unlock the Lynx.
I just had a Chat with EA Support. They are aware of this issue, are analyzing it and have promised as this weapon should be unlocked soon.
