Suggestion to increase squad size
I want to suggest the option to have bigger squad size options from 3 - 4 - 6 - 8 player sizes. Where the standard size is 4 but can be changed to fill in more friends or team players in-game or post...

Saw that also. Honestly probably a deal breaker for my group of 6. More people are playing with larger groups than ever before. Even if you cap squads to 4 at least allow people to lobby up and join with more than 4. You wanna promote community in your games than start by allowing friends to play together.
I mean usually it's not a big deal to just join trough the friends list too, if you wanna follow a friend into the Battle. And mix up the squads ingame then how you want them.
If there would be like 10 friends joining at once, could probably be hard to get into the same team right away anyways. If the teams were supposed to be balanced before already, so i guess it would split you all up by being that many people.

With 128 players it shouldn't be hard to get that many joining on same team into a game. To me it just comes off lazy to stick with 4 MAX. Thing is there are ways you can still do that but give better quality of life to larger groups wanting to play together. If I wanna join with 8 friends into one game without having to do server hopping I should be able to. Right now there isn't a reasonable reason to disallow larger groups from joining into the same game to be on the same team.
