Undoubtedly the strongest specialist for anyone playing objectives...1) Can glide across the map given a few feet of elevation to jump off of giving better maneuverability/mobility than most vehicles.2) No cooldown on wingsuit3) Anti armor grenades can now fly after air vehiclesLike sure, Boris and others are strong but most specialist have one strong utility and the other is just a quirky gimmick. If you look at any higher ranked players they're often playing Sundance and theres a reason for it

I think her grenades were always supposed to attack air vehicles (the big problem before was them prioritizing far away air vehicles over ground targets close up), but yeah the overall utility of the build is too great for BF in my opinion (though I still prefer OP Angel).I don't mind the idea of a wingsuit but I would like to see it either be rendered useless via bullet holes and/or not allow it to be deployed 1 foot off the ground (basically you need to wind up like Super Mario Bros 3's tanuki suit)

Pretty much all the specialists have issues with balancing. The whole specialist concept is flawed from a gameplay point of view, unless you're making a battle royale type of affair.Of course, from a monetarization point of view, specialists are awesome. Imagine the action figure revenue.It's pretty clear why Dice put them into this game, and equally clear why they're not going to take them out.Which makes it rather interesting as to how Dice intend to approach the specialist feedback loop. I think the reason its taking so long to deliver on this, is that they're having trouble creating a set of questions that narrows the scope enough to avoid the issue of specialists as a whole, without looking like its the meaningless exercise it actually is.

@A-RAF2019 Boris is a parasite in this game.last time i played i have had Boris players opt out to engage me in the gunfight instead they place their turret, prone right next to it, let the turret 3D spot me, and then if i haven't killed them already they try and shoot in my general direction...the issue is the turret has already hit me about 2-4 times by that time so i am already at about half HP before these "gamers" can be bothered to actually play the game instead of letting a crutch-mechanic play it for them.On top if i then kill the player i still have to kill the turret that still has the boost from having the slug bleeding out next to it......what a time to be alive

@Necromantion But o a 1-on-1 shootout with McKay they lose, may get killed by a turret, may not land well where she wants on a tight spot like on top of a cylinder, does not have armor, and if she cannot reach that high spot, in certain maps she have a hard time.

If you know how to setup loadouts and you have good squad mates, Angel is the best.

Boris is really good to defend some flags.

Now Irish is meh..

@A-RAF2019 Irish can be good and causing blockades for chokepoints with the shield barriers, or if there's a semi-stationary vehicle they can guard it against most explosive attacks with their shoot-down-sentry thing. That said, I think he's my least-played specialist.

last time i played i have had Boris players opt out to engage me in the gunfight instead they place their turret, prone right next to it, let the turret 3D spot me, and then if i haven't killed them already they try and shoot in my general direction...
the issue is the turret has already hit me about 2-4 times by that time so i am already at about half HP before these "gamers" can be bothered to actually play the game instead of letting a crutch-mechanic play it for them.
On top if i then kill the player i still have to kill the turret that still has the boost from having the slug bleeding out next to it......

Aye I am aware how strong Boris is but its difficult for other classes to get the jump on her unless she literally walks into somewhere where they're camping.

Aye his turret should die when he does just like rangers and AT mines (the latter i dont understand at all but yeah)

@Necromantion Definitely a high mobility anti-vehicle specialist.
Technically the Anti-Armor grenades always chased air vehicles, that was the issue with those. Before 4.0 I actually chased helicopters with them, you just threw them in the air, and they chased after their found target, and blared that lock on alert.

I guess the main reason why so many high ranked player use Sundance is, that they still working to reach Tier 1.
With the Anti-Armor grenades now working that goal becomes more feasible.

I agree with you on Boris. I even made a topic about it and some players jumped on defending his poor design. Still if ppl that enjoy Boris cant live without him and cant make kills w/o him they should literarily stop playing FPS games since relaying on the turret to make kills smells more like a warlock class in WoW than a FPS game.

@Anobix Nice in theory, but the sentry is incredibly unreliable and fails to block most attacks. Even with one either side of the vehicle, or one in front and behind. Various distances tested.
