tanks and choppers

Hey EA, I loved your battlefield games, but the tanks and choppers in battlefield 2042 are way too overpowered, there is nothing you can do to defend yourself from them if you're not around team mates, and you'll either get ran over or blown to bits. The gadgets and the M5 recoiless takes way too long use, and the the soflam user doesn't do any good unless you know for sure other people are going to use the recoiless M5, otherwise it's a wasted gadget slot, The anti Tank mines are great only if you get lucky for them to run over it, please, please, please do something for us infantry to stop them from overpowering us when their are like 4 armored vehicles and 3 choppers, I feel like all i'm ever doing is defending myself from them unless I go indoors but I'm a big Sniper fan so I like to be outside, and the shotguns for the ps4 are horrendous, except for the the auto shotgun, but the shotguns are suppose to be a one shot kill to the head up close , and it literally takes 3 shots. ( do me a big favo please and take a look at it please if you don't mind) also when ever I do a take down, I get stuck in the animation move ,and sometimes when I use my under barrel I can't ADS, These bugs are horrible, and you guys did such a great job with the past battlefields games, I don't know what happened,( with only 8 maps) and you're telling me that we're 20 yrs into the future and we don't have anything like a claymore mine or a bouncing betty for infantry, in case someone sneaks up onto us. Surely you guys can think of something up that's like a bouncing betty or a claymore against infantry, I mean after all you had some in the past battlefields, but this is way into the future, Please, Please, Please read this , because battlefield is making me so mad now, and everything use to be balanced and their use to be a counter for everything. One last thing is the stupid bolte vehicles , they are way to fast to use c5's or the recoiless M5 so they'll just run over you and shoot you easily, the only other way to destroy them is with anti tank mines, how am I suppose to defend myself against that , they'll take out the freak-en whole team if you don't nerf it big time, or give infantry some help, other then using the slow gadgets. I mean you just try using the M5 recoiless or the C5 on them for yourself and see what you're K/D ratio is after trying to destroy them. Please do me a huge favor EA and read this and consider doing some things to change it, that's all I"m asking, I can guarantee you that more people would start playing it, and add some more maps too. Thanks

Bolte and Scouthelicopter kills the game for me (and my mates).

If people would just concentrate their fire on the driver/passenger Boltes aren't too bad to take out.

A good Pilot in the scout heli can rack up stupid scores and aside from a lucky (thanks to network) hit with an m5 they are far too difficult to take out.

Nothing more satisfying than taking out a chopper with the M5 (or getting in trouble for waking the kids if I make contact) :P love taking shots at them
Always enjoyed the infantry vs armour combat, always have throughout the series.
I do feel though that the M5 is far to ineffective against armour.
In previous titles I remember hitting weak spots with the launchers to gain increased damage, from behind for example. I do also recall that RPG damage did increase at range in previous titles. I'm not sure if this sort of thing is implemented with the M5 and if it is then I don't see it! Making a hit from behind, at range, from the side and so on.. the damage appears to be all the same, which doesn't seem to be much. Maybe I'm missing something?
I do get that you should be working as a team to make it easier and I try to. Unfortunately team work is incredibly hard to come by from my experience (not that I get a great deal of time to play). Lack of VOIP, searching for new servers and the end of each map, no squad management, etc really makes it difficult to get a decent squad going (big disappointment for me if I'm honest), that's however a completely new thread. Not to get off topic, I guess my point is that I mostly always find myself alone trying to take out armour, which isn't an easy feat given it doesn't appear to offer up any damage multipliers, nothing really noticeable at least in my opinion.

@Ai-Fluffy If the Bolte is just hanging out with its windows towards combat, then they deserve to get shot outta there. But if they've got a functional brain they're zooming around making it insanely difficult to hit driver/gunner, and if they stop to shoot for a bit they'll ensure that they're protected from small arms fire by pointing the front away from combat.

I absolutely lover shooting out idiot bolte drivers that don't seem to realize you can shoot them outta the vehicle though. That's the only thing I like about the vehicle, and it's only because people are stupid.

If BF2042 had the same anti-tank weapons, stationary weapons and anti air weapons as BF4 does, then I don't think there would be a problem. Players would have serious options to take out tanks and choppers. It's plain to see that BF2042 has regressed when it comes to weapon tech and options in this game. The lack of choice for both weapons and vehicle weapon customisations in BF2042 compared to BF4 is absolutely dumb and it has effected the game balance negatively.

And honestly, I can't see them adding a tonne of additional weapons and vehicles to the game. They can just barely add a functional "legacy" scoreboard to this game. They're just going to churn out season 1 then call it quits because let's face it, hardly anyone plays this game anymore.

This is another big fail from Dice.
Put 128 players in the game, make 110 of them play as infantry.
Design the maps and vehicles/weapons in a way, that the game is just awful for infantry to play.
Make 85% of the players have a bad experience and then wonder why the game failed.

Vehicle road kills used to be the rare occasional thing in BF games.
In BF2042 road kills appear to be the most frequent kill method when driving a ground vehicle.

@Arfan76 Thanks man, I thought you were against me for a sec. I guess Dice or EA got tired and lazy making changes that actually NEEDS changing, the score board is the least of the communities concern really.

@CyberDyme Yup it doesn't help when you're trying to progress you weapons or characters by getting kills when you get ran over by a BOLTE just because you're in it's way
