The big map was a step in the right direction
This was one thing i could take away as a positive. Just my opinion of course i know not everybody likes big maps, but i love them. Reminded me so much of BF2 with a big open map to move around, not...

Here is the size of each the BF2042 maps currently being readied for the game release next month:
- Kaleidoscope: 0.21 km2
- Discarded: 0.64 km2
- Orbital: 0.78 km2
- Renewal: 0.81 km2
- Manifest: 0.92 km2
- Hourglass: 1.2 km2
- Breakaway: 1.93 km2
So the Orbital map we tried for the beta is matter of fact the 3rd smallest of them all. Here's to hoping for many more vehicles and more mayhem when we get to the bigger maps (or we will all be exhausted from all the running around on the maps just to find some trouble to engage into)

@CyberDyme They change map names? isnt the ice map called breakaway? also what is borderline

I still referred to the internal map names initially used by the DICE development team... 😳

So I just updated the names on the list above, to show what are the marketed map names...
Thx for reminding me.
Renewal is the map with the large wall, separating the rich fertile farming land from open desert.
Breakaway is the map on Antarctica, which we also saw used in the reveal trailer with the battle on ice/snow.
