The big map was a step in the right direction
This was one thing i could take away as a positive. Just my opinion of course i know not everybody likes big maps, but i love them. Reminded me so much of BF2 with a big open map to move around, not...

I like big maps as well, but
they have also always had big maps at said time for each Battlefield tho , I always thought its a Battlefield thing
So I am a bit thrown off by the topic.
I enjoy smaller maps also and curious about TDM and any other potential modes in BF 2042

We definitely need some small maps also, with tight spaces and corridors, like a real pressure cooker potentially just for infantry.
Battling it out from room to room, from corridor to corridor. Aka like what we also had in previous BF games, like with the maps Locker and Metro. Some intense meat grinders with tough cluster-fxxxs ...(upsa, correction...) bottlenecks to battle your way through with your squad and teammates!
We had suggested to the EA game map designers potentially to give us like 3-5 floors in one of the downtown sky-scrapers to make such a map for us in! It could be like a mix of office areas, indoor shopping mall area and some open spaces inside where this could work very well. Maybe even with the option to blow out the windows and parachute down to ground floor, maybe stairs/elevators to provide backstage access to flank enemies etc. The options are endless. But yes, we need one or more such intense pressure cookers for the real infantry Close Quarter Combat please!
