@BGHFlakjacket Def, 2042 was my last pre order with EA.
I learned my lesson in 2013 with BF4.
That was the last BF I actually bought before or on day 1, no regrets so far. BF4 turned out to be a solid production, not the best but a solid modern combat experience.
I purchased BF2042 for -50% and somewhat the feeling of regret is real.
The best approach is to see initial gameplay, check the reviews, and what old player base "dinosaurs of the series" and "toxic" Reddit's subpage has to say 🙂
