    Hello everyone,

    I wanted to give you a quick update regarding some recent changes to the threads. I have merged a few threads together that were discussing the same topic to keep everything organized.

    I've noticed there's some confusion about the Season 5 Premium Battle Pass variant and its inclusion in the Battlefield 2042 Gold and/or Ultimate Edition, as well as EA Play Pro and the Year 1 Pass.

    Let me clarify that the Season 5 Premium Battle Pass variant is not included in the Battlefield 2042 Gold and/or Ultimate Edition or the Year 1 Pass. These editions only grant you access to the Premium Battle Pass rewards*** for Seasons 1 to 4. If you're interested in the Premium variant of the Season 5 Battle Pass or anything beyond Seasons 1 to 4, you'll need to purchase it separately.

@GrizzGolfYeah thats what I thought too. But according to this description, its Year 1 pass OR buy it separately

And of course, community managers are going to keep quiet about it.

@UP_LordPlumber The CMs may not know either, I doubt they get briefings. I didn’t think S5 was part of the Gold edition. I remember reading that S5 could be purchased with Boins, really I guess we won’t know for sure for another week or two.
