I actually play on PC, but in answer to your question the easiest way to test out crossplay off is to join an official Weekly Portal Experience, that way the server will start and fill with bots.
As you play other humans should join at least that's how it works for me here in the UK on PC. By afternoon / evening the servers are usually populated by at least half humans and the rest bots.
This weeks Portal experiences are All Out Superiority and Tactical Conquest, at other times you get World Tour and Rush XL playlists etc.If I want to play AOW modes like the Discarded Rework Map I have to wait until the afternoon before the server fills up/ starts (as there are no bots to help start the server in AOW. it takes 32 players to start a 128 player game)
Hey @RayD_O1 so it got better with the hitreg and all that junk with crossplay off? I'm on PC as well so if that's what helped you ill do the same.
