The voice lines in BF2042 is the part that most apparantly reveal how disconnected game design is with how players will percieve the product.
Its like the analogy of a 45 year old dad showing up at a party with 20 year olds trying to be cool "Are we partying yet guys whoooo!" Could be fun though, but its funny, right?

I really don't know how these obnoxious mouthy cartoon characters made it into Battlefield. If the Tom Henderson rumor is true about 2042 initially starting out as something else entirely, I wonder at what point in development they tried to turn it around. Was it a month? Feels like it
Mediocre attempt to deflect, but clearly, these are ridiculous choices to make by a game designer and a game director.
