Weightless Vehicles

I have always been a big fan of Battlefield mainly because of the vehicles.  The Beta I played worked well but since the release, I have noticed there are major issues with the weight of the vehicles.  Driving any of the trucks and running over a rock or hitting a rock will cause the vehicle to jump around almost like a rubber ball.  It is as though the vehicle is separate of the world it is interacting in and has no value or weight to it.

I have noticed something similar with firing on other players.  At times the weapons feel as though they have an impact but then other times it is as though I am not even firing just feet from another person.  The Beta seemed to function far better than the final release of the game with these items as I felt the player was more interactive with the environments and now it feels like we are floating through the board and not able to interact correctly.  It has really killed the joy I have been looking forward to with this game as it doesn't feel complete in any way.

  • @Gndmwing18 Everytime I'm in an LATV4, every small hill will make the vehicle do huge jumps then become uncontrollable even if I'm driving 20 mph. Same goes with the tanks occasionally. Feels like they want to take off.
  • Yes that is exactly what is happening.  I feel the vehicles on previous games were created far better than what has been done on this version.  Just seems to be such a disconnect with the game physics.

  •   I got a hovercraft to fly. Hit a ramp at speed and check it out for yourself

@Gndmwing18 im annoyed that concrete barriers just stop vehicles unlike BFV when you can crash through walls and the like hahaha.
