specialist and the system they come with are utter garbage

@rippedwire01 I couldn't agree more I hate the specialist system.I don't even care anymore if they keep them in 2042 I just hope they NEVER get put into any future BF title.

@Psubond I just hate that the Specialists have the same skins. Both teams look identical. At least give them different skins depending on the faction.

@JOGAGATYA Your argument about Portal fails because Portal progression was gimped prior to full release. Portal has no unlocks or ribbons to work towards. Portal classes aren't actually the same as classes were, as gadgets are locked in a way they weren't in those games.

Some people do enjoy specialists, obviously. However it is impossible to gauge as things stand as there are so many variables.

@JOGAGATYA Because of the reasons I just set out............ People don't want to play gimped classes, gimped Exp and no progression. Who would have thought it??

I could make a crass argument about how the introduction of specialists has seen one of, if not, the biggest and quickest drop off of any mainline BF game, showing players do not like specialists at all, but that would be awfully reductive.

classes won't help team play. it didn't help team play in previous battlefield games either. people are going to do their own thing regardless of what you want them to do and in this game we're stuck in squads with them, we can't even leave a squad reliably and find a new one
