@DrunkwoIf My first BF, as well. To be fair, if BF2 was launched today, I think it would be a successful and VERY SMALL franchise.
The gaming community has changed dramatically (think Fortnite) since we started to play on-line. It is all about instant gratification, no grind, everyone gets a prize. EA is only interested in big, successful franchises.

@Lancelot_du_Lac Well said, I couldn't have worded it better myself. The things that made Battlefield fun for us during its inception as a series is a niche interest today, sadly.. But it is what it is.
