Agree. However, the profitability of the live service model seems to be predicated on micro-transactions, such as selling clown skins.

One option that was discussed some time ago was the ability to 'turn off' the appearance of such skins, so that all you would see was the basic player skins.

The question then is whether this would interrupt the publishers cash flow from selling skins - why buy one if nobody else can see it!
