Why does this game take so long to update?
I updated warframe today, 7+ gig patch took 5-6 minutes This game? every patch is 1-2 hours right now its been "preparing" update for 10 minutes and hasn't yet deemed it appropriate to start downloa...

The fact that it sometimes takes a very long time to update a game can have many different causes. Think about:
- There is not enough CPU power left to perform the update properly and quickly, so make sure to keep an eye on your background tasks.
- Your HDD or SSD is not very fast, is already very full, or is already quite old.
- General hardware and/or software problems,
- Your internet connection is not very fast, or it is very busy.
- And in some cases, there are problems with the update servers. But if that is the case, then everyone would be affected by this, which turns out not to be the case.
And with EA/DICE's track record with updates id bet $100 its the game and not the posters internet or computer.
