As for TGM, which is considered easier, it is difficult because the evasive ability of the helicopter is greater than the turning ability of the TGM, and it requires the infantryman to stand still, making it difficult to use reflexively on the front line.
As mentioned above, we need to nerf the helicopter to some extent and also prevent camping.
And we need an infantry-carried weapon with a longer range than its effective range, with enough difficulty that "new recruits choose to be anti-aircraft without deserting", so that they can head to the front line and be anti-aircraft with a handful of PTFOs.
The Fliegerfaust seems like overkill, so why not reduce the power and have a specialized anti-aircraft equipment with much faster bullet velocity and reload than the M5, shoots regardless of flares, and has a close-in fuse?
Since the soldier system will be restored on a limited basis from S3, it would be a good idea to have it as a new gadget at that time.

As a tanker I hate any air attack vehicle that I perceive as having the odds stacked too far in its favour over my tank but I don't want a battlefield game that makes it easy to click one button and kill attack vehicles or give stingers ridiculous ranges to lock on with.
Big problem with 2042 is the lack of effort Dice put into tailoring vehicle categories for every map.
Same with Exodus Conquest 64.
"Let's just use the exact same vehicle count and category for every Exodus portal map".
- NekoNoShingekiV4 years agoNew Traveler@Man_iLoveFishing While it is true that I detest helicopters...no, they are necessary. Not as a butcher, but as a necessary evil.
Aircraft...a battlefield without helicopters is rock-paper-scissors with nothing but rocks and paper. Today's helicopters are scissors that break even rocks.
