"Suddenly a thing"... Nah, been going on since the start of the game.
It really needs to be addressed though.
Why wouldn't they? The devs took away so many of the methods infantry could have used to solve this problem. Vehicles got preferential treatment and now those who voted for the nerfs are paying the price.
