- Kyosji4 years agoSeasoned Ace@RiskyLife Yes I will, and anyone that claims otherwise sounds childish and unrealistic. Would you never buy a banana again because you opened one with brown spots? Would you never buy milk again because you opened one up and it was spoiled? Would you never buy a apple or samsung phone because you got one that was DOA?
EA will release a game you are interested in at some point, and you will buy it. @BizzyVaping They sure will, in fact I already have just two days ago.
- Kyosji4 years agoSeasoned Ace@SirBobdk There's a difference between a game series and an entire company. Are you saying you are never going to buy another Activision game ever again?
Plus EA has the exclusive rights to starwars game somehow!?

If it's good I buy it.As mentioned, it depends on the game.
- @RiskyLife How they handle the support for this game will basically answer that for me. They also abandoned Battlefront 2 right as they legit turned that game into something the fans really wanted. And right when fans got their hopes up for Mandalorian content, Ahsoka Tano, etc. They told us support for "years to come". That's the theory behind "live service" right?
And all for what? To make another live service mess that needs cleaning up.
So yeah, if they do the same with BF2042, then I'm out.
They also have given no word on a TitanFall 3 or Mirror's Edge Catalyst sequel. Two of my favorite IPs. No word on a Battlefront 3.
Jedi Fallen Order sequel at this point stands as the only EA game I plan to buy in the future. - @BizzyVaping Me and a friend played the mess out of Cold War on PS5.
- @ArchAngeL-PCX Yeah, their definition of live service needs an adjustment. Just like Anthem would have years of support with content to keep us occupied for hours on end!
Basically yeah, it'll come down to how they handle this mess. If they fix it and keep supporting it... I might reconsider my stance on never buying EA games again. If they're gonna half-* it and/or drop it like they did Anthem then that'll be the last time for me. - sgtPoulton4 years agoNew Veteran

Got up to around 400 hours on it. Only stopped playing because insurgency sandstorm and 2042 came out.
