Regarding some incentive to keep on playing the game (brought up in another thread)......I was just wondering how many of you might be like me, and would like to see them do something with map packs in a similar way in which the COD people used to do a number of years back where they'd release 4 map "packs" per year and each map pack would contain 4 new maps (some original, some remakes). In 1 year's time we could have 16 more maps to play on in Portal.Would some of you be willing to buy this? I know I would.Something like 4 new maps per pack where perhaps 1 is original and 3 are remakes from previous BF's. Release a new pack every 90 days.I don't really care about price as that's not the point here since that can be argued about all day long.

I originally assumed this would be a free thing constantly updating the game over time, sucks that they had to rework other stuff - I mean, I probably would pay for packs if I absolutely had to but I'd rather not; I just think a fully fleshed out Portal is exactly what everyone needs

Absolutely not.Thr game still isn't finished yet (and I'm not convinced it will ever be finished) so I sure as hell ain't going to shell out more money.

Paid map DLCs were the pinnacle of modern BattlefieldSo yes I would like them.They have a lot more value than outfitsBUTFirst they need to make Portal a proper equal to AoW.Get Breakthrough in and get rid of the dumb progression restrictions on edited / A.I experiences.

Yea I get it...but in my own case I've gotten over 400 hours out of the game thus far and I paid what, about $90 or $100 dollars for that, so I have no problem spending like $20-$25 every 3 months for a pack with 4 maps in it. @BigShottt i would rather blend my money, then boil the blend and make tea with the shredded currency and drink it then give a single cent more for this "AAA Product"

I paid $69.99 "Full price" for this minimum effort triple A production. EA/DICE will have to make a perfect game next time before I give them a single cent of my money.

@BigShottt They did use to do this essentially up till bf1 except bf1 had no maps from past games. Of course I'd buy map packs if they had them though that's what this game needs is maps, especially urban ones

@BigShotttBattlefield had DLCs for most of the past games. I bought them all, and they were mostly good too. Had new skins and most importantly new weapons and vehicles often. They were under $20 if I remember it right. They offered a Premium that provided all the expansions. I would have totally spent more money on DLC in 2042… if it had been better.
