2042 loading issue

got game when it was on sale from steam, for the battlepass. played 22 hours and im a little over halfway finished.

well then the game updated 9/9/25 and i cant even get the game to load now. server status for the game and the ea app say they are both good. i uninstalled and reinstalled the game and app, same issue.

steam tries to load game, game window pops up, then ea app loads, then the game window closes and ea says "the game unexpectedly closed on our end, try back later."

its the next day and still having issue.

please advise.
