I have the EXACT same issue and pretty much the same timeline as you. I’ve gone done the rabbit hole on fixes to the point that I actually wiped and clean installed Windows 11 and only have Steam, EA and Razer Synapse installed. Still crashes after trying to load a map almost every time now. Rolled back NVIDIA drivers on new install — same thing.
My issue is different to yours but I was able to actually FIX my game by disabling windows "Real TIme Protection" .
For some reason EA anti cheat doesn't like Windows Defender on my PC, I have added a file exclusion for BF 2042 and it is no longer killing my PC.

The Windows Defender solution did not work for me. I tried disabling it, and also adding the 2042 folder to the exceptions list. I'm still crashing regularly. Often it is after getting rewards or unlocks after a round, but not always
