You're not alone my friend. Have had the exact same issue and been working on it for 6 hours with no headway. I'd argue I've done even more troubleshooting steps since I'm on PC. Found a thread from a couple of years ago that this is an internal account issue and EA support HAS to help. The person who wrote it at the time got no where with emailing support and had to talk to them through live support chat. Been looking for an hour and it doesn't look like there is any live support chat to help. If I'm incorrect about that, please give me a link and I stand corrected

To access the online chat with customer service, simply send a request to customer service here: https://help.ea.com/en/customer-care 
Depending on the topic you select, different contact options will be offered after you submit your ticket. Chat is generally available for questions related to your account --> How do I get in contact with EA with no live chat option? | EA Forums - 12084605 😉

I've also been struggling with EA app the past 4 days. Problems started after BF6 Open Beta, then i was unable to launch BF2042 after that. I went thru 6 EA support technicians, and nothing works to fix this. Now it only says Failed to launch the game. And for all other older EA games i get this message: "Game license is invalid, the app couldn't read the game's license file, so we suggest relaunching the game in online mode. If the problem continues, try clearing your cache."
Everything has been cleared, reinstalled, clean reboot, nothing works. Support tells me to just wait another 3-5 days, and maybe it will work again, and I've had this problem since 19.08.25, so more waiting won't suddenly help....

I appreciate the help. This chat link brings you to steps to "access the chats". The information provided here may no longer be accurate. It advises you to access support for your EA account, rather than troubleshooting. Once you access EA account it says to  "see all topics", and then "I want to update my EA Account information.", which would then provide you the link to begin your live chat. Once you get there, the User Interface does not reflect this. There are no "see all topics" or "I want to update my EA Account information". If there is any way to live chat, it's seemingly purposely buried in the obscure UI more than likely to curb a high volume of issues being poured onto the live chat support agents.
