I've been unable to launch BF2042 and have not found any help in any of the forums or youtube, I've created a support ticket but am still waiting for a response and wanted to see if anyone else was having a similar issue. When launching 2042 it immediately crashes and creates a crash dump. I've exhausted as many resources I could but was hoping someone here would be able to help. I've attached a dxdiag and a photo of the crash. Is anticheat causing this issue?
After doing some digging it does appear to be related to the anticheat service but I have still not fixed the issue. Using event viewer ive found that it attempts to start the service but it fails to do so and this is the following error in Event Viewer.
The EAAntiCheatService service failed to start due to the following error:
The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.
Hey man did you get this fixed yet? I get the same error as you and it seems like it is something to do with the recent Windows 11 update.

Bumping Post same / simulair isseu.
Upon launch I get "unexpected error" in crash handler.
It took weeks and a update for the crash handler to even show up.
I took a step after several failed launches.
I repaired the game, re-installed the game, repaired again, re-installed Windows as clean install without retaining data for new install - no recovery upon completing installation, Installed everything, installed EA, installed 2042, reparied 2042, re-installed 2042, repaired 2042 NOTHING.
Thanks for activating the error chrash handler when launhing 2042?....

Lol!, Crash handler logfiles are not supported on forum.
How is EA / DICE suppose to fix games if users cannot submit crash handler created dumpfiles?
Changed Fileextension to Txt, Please obscure my files even tho there coded....changing file extension resulted in claim that file could not be found (/accessed?).
If one manages to create a ticked it gets closed before a reply was found on inbox in forum or email ...niether way gets it to a solution, please adress support contributors or better put lack there of.

Requested a Community manager several times, still waiting for a EA Community manager to replay regarding Access to EA lounge, Press room, VIP, Q&A Gamescom.
Without it for me Gamescom is not half as valuable to commit to.
Been screened and a 2016 visitor to Gamescom and everting EA there.
Was also invited as VIP for Wolrd of WarShips at the time.
When and if my health allows it I would like to attend and contribute again.
Download EA Anticheat installer, Uninstall, install EA anticheat, then open EA App and click manage, repair game.

also having the same problem. anti cheat thing pops up, loads, closes, opens bf2042 in windowed mode, black screen, and after 10 seconds closed. I tried all solutions on the internet, changed i think every possible setting in my computer. Nothing...
