Battlefield 2042 Update 2.1.0 Lag on Main Menu

I recently updated bf2042 and the lag and screen stutter in the load menu and main menu is horrible. I am getting about 1 fps. I have checked my network connection, firewall permissions, cleared cache, verified game files, updated graphics driver, updated windows, optimized power and graphics, and uninstalled and reinstalled the game and the issue persists. My system specs are all very high end so I know its not my system and other games have run perfectly fine. Specs: intel 11900k, 32gb DDR4 3600mhz DRAM, 360mm water cooler, 2tb NVMe SSD. ROG STRIX 3080, running on windows 10 64bit.

    I did a little check / investigation !
It seems our Dev's locked cpu cores ammount to a minimum of 8.
User file still works , but you cannot go below the minimum of 8 cores anymore!
Maybe the try to keep a minimum of performance for systems that are not in the "low end"!

    I did also try the Render.ForceDx11 1
But this will crash BF2042 (probarly works only for consoles !)
    BF2042 is made in/for dx12 at PC!

    Also did the command: RenderDevice.UseReserverdJobThreads
But also this did not change in ammount of cpu cores !

Im still hunting for any solution, while you guys could of course report this , so they activate core ammount settings again 😉

    Cheers.

Ok having set up the User.cfg file it does not run any better. I still see cpu usage is down below 10% and so is gpu usage. The game was running fine before the game and windows 11 updated so there must be an issue somewhere there. I just hope EA fixes this soon as none of the recent updates have fixed this problem since it started in version 2.1.0. Hell... I haven't heard from any EA devs on this issue at all actually.

@RheyLEW82yes its a known issue with certain controllers. Solution could be , wired connection , with a data/power cable . A bluetooth hub especially for those controllers (microsoft). Drivers you can download and install , for install controllers at windows.
But its also possible your controller isnt "compatible" (yet) with windows.

    Game On !

I'm using an Official brand new MICROSOFT Xbox One controller. Like I mentioned, I've tried both wired via USB type C cable and Microsoft wireless adapter - which uses RF and not Bluetooth.  I've also updated the controller's firmware. It still makes no sense that the game runs fine the second I turn off the controller and use keyboard and mouse...

So my game randomly just started working fine months ago, I did nothing to fix it. Fast forward to now Jan 2023, I got a new 3060 Ti (coming from rx5700) and the stuttering is back. I'm running all latest drivers and of course every other game is fine. Do I need to uninstall and reinstall?? This is very frustrating..

And just like before, if I disconnect my Xbox controller the game runs flawlessly. Doesn't matter if it's wired or wireless adapter. Plug the controller back in and the game stutters return immediately. I have also cleared my BF cache....Help please

@RheyLEW82 recommend stop cleairng the cahche will add load when maps start up the first time.

When you are playing is your CPU maxed out by any chance?

    /Atic

How do I check CPU load while playing? And what is the correlation between playing with controller vs mouse and keyboard? I've seen this be an issue for others in reddit posts...

I just checked and while playing my CPU load fluctuates between 40-80%, it doesn't max out. Again when I disconnect Microsoft Xbox controller, game runs perfect..
