So even with voice chat enabled my voice chat channel won’t let me change it to squad and is greyed out. Anyone else having this problem? I can hear other players in my squad talking using voice chat but mine does not, what gives?

Having the same problem on PC with a Razer Kaira Pro wireless. Looks like a problem across all platforms.
DICE Team@EA_Atic As you can seen in the screenshot, I was able to change from Party to Squad, but I had to wait until the match starts before I could change it to Squad. The problem is, it's still grey out so I can't change it back to party. The only way I can change it back to party is after a match starts. That does help much considering we setup a party before going into a match.
I was eventually able to hear people in the squad but the mic doesn't work for me. That's a whole other headache I haven't had time to look into. The only way I can get the sound to work in the headset is to change the input settings. But when I change the input settings, the mic doesn't work. For some reason, changing the output doesn't impact the sound to my headset or the desk speakers even when the Windows settings are defaulted to the headset or speakers. Make no sense.
DICE Teami actually had this issue and basically the fix is that you need to go into a game like conquest with a squad and then in the settings it should not be greyed out anymore.
this is off topic but I have a different issue with voice chat entirely
