I play with a controller and mouse at the same time, and shortly after the release of BFV a patch was sent out that fixed and enabled me to use both controller and mouse without the UI of each clashing against each other (switching back and forth, not working, etc)With 2042 I wasn't able to use my controller analog stick at the same time as the mouse (character wouldn't walk, seemed like none of the native PS4 controller buttons were working if I wanted to use mouse) like I can in BFV and other games. I had to remap my thumbstick into WASD and going from 360 degree analog to an 8 directional stick was hard to deal with. This was the only negative I had with the game. Other than that much love to all that are working on this game for creating a great project and I wish much success to the game. I hope this issue will be/is fixed. Thank you very much. @The_TibberI do use reWASD however I don't want the keyboard bindings where I don't need them, I prefer to have an analog stick instead of a WASD stick, and L2 + L1 + other playstation buttons to be registered by the game instead of picked up by reWASD, converted to keyboard then picked up by game which could add input delay. You should try it out, in BFV you barely even need reWASD. Thank you for your reply

@MoodyRaccoon904 I believe it will, however not 100% sure. If it doesn't work try removing double bindings by deleting the keyboard keybindings leaving only the controller stuff. Or use a program like reWASD.

@Adamaxius You may need to setup your keyboard / controller / mouse manually. During the beta there were some issues with some keypads detected as game controllers, and "double bindings" just blocked some functions.

I'm having problems with my Xbox controller just now.
It thinks it's a Playstation controller in game on PC via Origin 😢

@hippityhopkins my main controls are scroll up jump, scroll down reload, L1 switch weapon L2 crouch/slide , ps4 TouchPad is the interact button (using reWASD program it can be customized a lot) ps4 logo middle logo button is in-game attachments, down on d-pad is call in system although that can be changed. I have 3 mouse buttons near thumb for grenade, medium pen, and melee, I also have scroll left and scroll right for gadgets, you can also customize scroll click. Can drive and shoot with controller, map a change seat button maybe to d-pad for convenience.

@Zenoflex You may be able to use rewasd in settings enable hide physical controller and then with the magic wand button you can make the system think it's an Xbox controller if needed . Or even set it as DS4 and it will be a virtual ps4 controller which could help

@Adamaxius I think it's an issue with my Bluetooth dongle.

It works fine wired.

@Zenoflex What's the problem that's happening? You still may be able to fix it using that method as you can turn the dongle device into the virtual controller
