Here is a forum post with people that are having the same issue as me but on a different console.
On Xbox Series S. This is my information below.
In the “Controller Schemes” settings there is a sub category of “Aircraft” under that there is “Air Pilot Controls” and “Air Pilot Buttons”. After moving ether of them to the “custom” setting you would go try to set a custom setting that you prefer, after making new bindings I wanted to turn it back to “Default” so I went back to the “Controller Schemes” menu and attempted to turn the “Air Pilot Buttons” back to “default”. The game instantly crashes and has to be restarted. I can re create this crash multiple times and no fix.
Now we can’t go in any aircraft pretty much, think my yaw was inverted and couldnt find anything to change it. Now i cant change it and have no idea when i can play in a heli without crashing my game. Absolutely joke that a game can be released in this state
