This is INSANE, we’ve all just paid $100 for your trash game and we can’t even play it. Do something, this was a problem in the BETA and you still haven’t addressed it????

I couldn't get past the loading screen with the ship as it kept crashing but I was on an older windows version, I did all the updates and now run on the latest windows and the game runs just fine.
I try to install game on my son computer which have a windows 20H1 and it works the trouble is from windows but dont to make new install of all my programs pffff
I have a same issue with AMD 6600XT , why mark it as solved, if that's being investigated?

This is my case:
RTX 3080 Gigabyte
Driver: 496.13
Win 10 Ltsc - 1809 (10.0.17763) crash after ship appears and before menu enter (error messag: see screenshot)
Win 10 Pro - 21H1 (19043.1348) crash after ease anticheat appear (no error message)

This is just incredible... I would be fired at my job if I mark a PR as resolved just because I'm investigating on it!
Could you please give more info to the (frustrated) community?
Is the problem identified?
Should we expect a fix in the coming days, weeks, months???
Or should we just all install that crappy home/pro windows version to get a chance to play that game? Please tell us...

The game is bad for hundreds of people, so please calm down, you’re just a partner too this "good" game party.
I am waiting for their cs reply and fix it as fast as possible because they delay their release date and make a huge bug, I feel upset about that QQ

@EA_Atic No offence but I reported that in Alpha and only now you are saying the team is going to look into it? For now the game is just unplayable and even the menu tries to fry my gpu.
@EA_Atic: Contacted support about resetting trial hours (I have standard edition and EA Play) so I can test this further. They aren't able to help.
- Reinstalled Windows 10 LTSC: Didn't work
- Reinstalled Windows 10 Pro (latest direct from Microsoft) and updated: Didn't work
- Upgraded to Windows 11: worked

@SouthOrangathanks for the info, however, I'm probably not the only one who doesn't want to risk upgrading to windows 11 and causing even more instability. I've been using Windows 10 version 1903 (an old version I installed back in 2019) because everything works perfectly EXCEPT this game. I mean every current game works on this OS.
At the end of the day, I use my PC for a home office, gaming, and music among other things. Simply isn't worth going to Win 11 for one game which MAY or MAY NOT fix the issue! I REALLY hope they fix this soon and also do something for the people that paid extra and weren't able to play early.
